Landscape Crew Position

This person will be responsible for working with crew members doing seasonal cleanups and maintenance tasks which include:  mulching, raking, thatching, mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, etc. Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and be a clear communicator. This person must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions, be punctual and a very hard worker who can work at a brisk pace. Being a team player is essential.

On an organization level, this person will be responsible for minor record-keeping and accountability for tools and materials used each day. Pay will be commensurate with experience. There is no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn. A good attitude is a must.

Landscape Gardener Position

This person will be responsible for working alongside crew members doing seasonal cleanups and bed maintenance tasks which include: raking, weeding, planting, mulching, watering, sweeping, and fertilizing. Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and be a clear communicator. This person must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions, be punctual and a very hard worker who can work at a brisk pace.

On an organization level, this person will be responsible for record-keeping and accountability for tools and materials used each day. Pay will be commensurate with experience. There is no experience necessary, just a desire to learn about plants and flowers. A positive attitude is a must, along with the ability to follow concise directions.

Job Requirements

A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
A Social Security Card
Fluent in speaking English
Stable housing on Nantucket
Provide 3 references of previous employers with current phone numbers
Be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and be in fit physical condition.
